Interview with Linda Anne
Have I always been a writer?
I have always been interested in fine arts; I expanded my talents to writing in 2007. What type of writing have you done? I started writing with journal writing...putting down my thoughts and feelings. I then progressed to writing poems for special friends. Why did you write a book? I kept feeling a strong desire to do something more significant with my life. At first I didn't know how I would do this...but as I began writing the words flowed freely and filled the pages with heartfelt words. I desire to touch the hearts of my readers with my words, discoveries, and experiences. I want to open the door of their understanding, healing, and transformation through everything I do. Why did you go from book writing to other artistic forms? Many people comment that my works are so different. After I wrote my cookbook I realized that I did not have to be confined by a type of writing or art form. I am free to create whatever is in my heart and mind without regard to subject matter or art form. So I write books, speak, and photograph life. What are you passionate about? I love photography especially how it feels to capture the moment through the eye of my camera. I love to travel and explore new places. I am a rock hound collecting crystals, geods, and rocks I see along the roadside and shoreline when I travel. I want to share light and joy with those I know and meet. |
